European white oak possesses ideal qualities for crafting staircases, but our clients often seek a more modern look than the natural oak. With our in-house French Polishing studio, we can achieve stunning finishes like our stone grey. This involves a surface stain, a robust lacquer for protection, and a textured lacquer on all treads for an anti-slip finish. The natural characteristics of solid wood result in variations in the stain from one project to another, making each staircase exceptionally unique.

In our complete renovation process, we start by removing the entire balustrade, including newel posts, handrails, baserails, and feature treads. We then proceed to clad the structural elements of the staircase, such as the treads and strings, to maintain the integrity of the existing structure.
